There are less than three months to go until this summer’s biggest multi-sport festival. The Organising Committee of the European Universities Games Lodz 2022 is working more and more intensively on the preparations. However, everything must take place in accordance with the guidelines of the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

Therefore, on 22-24 April, the EUG 2022 delegation travelled to Salerno, Italy, for the European University Sports Association Executive Committee Meeting. We were represented by: Ewa Brochocka, Dominik Leżański, Iwona Neroj, Marta Rybicka oraz Kamil Kozłowski.

During the meeting, representatives of the Organising Committee gave a presentation and reported on the progress of preparations for the Lodz Games. The report was very well received by the EUSA delegates.

It is worth mentioning that Salerno will host the EUG in 2026. Two years earlier, the European Academic Games will be held in Miskolc, Hungary. TheEuropean Universities Games is the flagship event of EUSA(European University Sport Association), held every 2 years in different European cities.

EUG Lodz 2022 will be held from 17-30 July.
