Only a few weeks remain to the start of the European Universities Games. On this occasion, we invited the inhabitans of our city for the Games for Łódź in Manufaktura. It was an event full of attractions for families, connected with physical activity and the promotion of EUG.

We have prepared stations with several disciplines that will be played in Lodz in July as part of the European Universities Games. You could test yourself in football, basketball 3×3, beach handball, beach volleyball, martial arts, table tennis, badminton chess and even climbing. All attractions were free for participants.

First day was dedicated to students from schools. They took part in practice sessions of the above-mentioned disciplines. On their faces we saw not only lot of joy, but also great involvement. Although the weather was not always good, brave young athletes coped with the challenges and collected attractive gadgets.

On Saturday and Sunday, whole families participated in the Games for Łódź. Tournaments delivered a lot of emotions, especially in 3×3 basketball or time climbing competitions. However, if someone preferred mind gymnastics, a science zone prepared by universities in Łódź – The Łódź University of Technology, the University of Łódź and the Medical University of Łódź awaited him.

The opening ceremony of the biggest multisport festival this summer will begin on July 17 with the opening ceremony in Atlas Arena. These three days were just a preview to this what will happen in Łódź during the European Universities Games.
